The Laboratori de Referència de Catalunya (LRC), part of the dibi network, has awarded the contract for the supply of materials to carry out the European RaDAR project, focused on the rapid detection of antibiotic resistance and the prevention of nosocomial infections caused by multidrug-resistant microorganisms.
The awarded companies are:
Lot 1 – Rapid screening, awarded to Alifax Spain, a company specialized in fast and reliable in vitro diagnostic systems, with a strong presence in clinical laboratories and a firm commitment to technical support and ongoing innovation.
Lot 2 – Rapid detection of multidrug-resistant microorganisms (MMR), awarded to Monlab, a Catalan company with over 35 years of experience providing rapid tests, reagents, and clinical diagnostic equipment at both national and international levels.
Lot 3 – Comprehensive solution for genomic analysis of MMR, awarded to Altair Health, a global technology company applying AI, simulation, and advanced analytics to improve design, diagnostics, and data management in the healthcare sector.
