Dr. Carlota Gudiol is the head of the Infectious Diseases Department at Bellvitge University Hospital, in Barcelona.
She is an associate professor at the University of Barcelona and co-principal investigator at CIBERINFEC.
Her clinical and research work focuses on infectious complications in inmunosuppressed patients with cancer and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and especially on the impact of antibiotic resistance in this population.
