The RaDAR Buyers Group has identified an unmet need for rapid detection of multi-drug resistant microorganisms (MDROs) and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) management and control systems. At the end of 2023 the RaDAR Buyers Group will launch tenders for innovative solutions to address the challenge of AMR. In order to progress to tender in the most effective way, we want to understand the market’s ability to respond and also how the buyers can facilitate supply chain innovation to deliver what is needed.
Between November 2022 and February 2023 the Buyers has therefore published a market sounding to open a dialogue with the supply chain and provide an opportunity for potential solution providers to provide feedback.
The market sounding was followed by a series of Open Market Consultation workshops, launched by the International online workshop on 1 March. The event was a great opportunity to present the PPI approach of the RaDAR Buyers Group to tackle the challenge of AMR and the latest updates on the procurement process and timelines.
The interactive group discussions further allowed potential suppliers to express their interest in RaDAR’s upcoming procurement process and identify barriers to the requirements defined by the Buyers Group.
In case you missed it, please find here the recording of the event.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration, so stay tuned for updates!
