The 33rd European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases took place in Copenhagen, Denmark on 15 – 18 April 2023.
RaDAR was present during the event, among other stakeholders in the field of antimicrobial resistance and beyond. Ana Álvarez Fernández (Project Manager at ICO) and Ion Arrizabalaga (RaDAR Project Coordinator at AQuAS) participated on behalf of the RaDAR Consortium, presenting the project’s goals, the results achieved so far, and the next steps, particularly during the Poster Session of the congress. In fact, Ana and Ion exhibited two paper posters to other participants, one detailing the structure of the project and the other summarising the unmet clinical needs of a rapid detection and effective infection control system for AMR, which RaDAR aims to address via Public Procurement of Innovative solutions.
The event provided a great opportunity not only to spread the word about the RaDAR project, but also to learn about the latest scientific advances in AMR by attending insightful discussion sessions with experts in the field of infection and an exciting networking venue, with more than 14000 people attending from all over the world.
